With Spring finally showing itself but with a chill the air, I can bet some or all of us are still having weather related skin issues. My skin is exceptionally dry at the moment but I'm also putting that down to my hormone changes so I've been looking at ways to help my dryness. Pixi Beauty released Glow Mist a few years ago but the collection has widen since so I've written a handy little guide so you know what is what.
There are now four mists available in the range, each available in 80ml spray bottles making them great for a quick spritz. Glow Mist is the original, with the latest three being welcomed to the collection this Spring.
Get That Glow
Glow Mist (£16.00*) is an all over mist for radiant, dewy effect containing thirteen natural oils such as propolis and argan oil to nourish and moisturise. Stood still, the oil settles upon the top so make sure you shake well to activate the mist. You can use morning and night, on bare skin or over make up. I've found the best way to use Glow Mist is over makeup as it delivers a beautiful healthy glow especially if you're a little too powdery likewise you can get the same effect on bare skin. This is the easiest way to glowing skin.
Morning Skin Boost
The Vitamin Wakeup Mist (£16.00*) is ideal for anyone that needs that extra nudge in the morning. It's described as a boosting treatment toner mist that gives a revitalised awakened effect to your complexion and I'm a fan. I tend to use this after I've finished my morning cleanse as it gives my skin an awakened effect, more so than I actually thought it would. It has a subtle orange scent which also makes those early mornings easier on my skin. I tend to only use this in the mornings as an added bit of zaza before I head out to start my day.
When I think of makeup fixer, I think Urban Decay and it's not often I'll reach for something else. The Makeup Fixing Mist (£16.00*) contains rose water and green tea which helps comfort, protect and balance skin while helping to prolong makeup. The mist also helps prevent melting or moving. Is this as good as Urban Decay? No but it is a close second and one I will reach for, for fixing any light makeup. I find the scent super soothing too.
The final mist is the Hydrating Milky Mist (£18.00*), my favourite one. The featherlight mist provides an instant surge of hydration with hyaluronic acid to plump skin. A blend of black oat, provitamin A, and linoleic acid makes this rejuvenator the perfect first layer of moisture before serums or makeup. I tend to spray this after I've taken my makeup off for the day or when I'm just not wearing any. If it's hydration and a skin refresh you're looking for then this one is for you.
