If there is one thing that suffers due to the colder weather, it's my hair so I have to really up the hair care routine once the clocks go back. Kérastase hair care is my expensive guilty pleasure and I've recently been using the perfect treatment for my locks that does what is says on the pot while taking no time at all. Let me introduce you to my hairs new BFF...
The Kérastase Nutritive Masque Magistral* is a restorative hair mask that works by nourishing and softening severely dried out, thick hair. It is marketed as a leave in treatment which is how I've using it but the Look Fantastic website says to leave in for five minutes then rinse thoroughly so there is every chance I haven't been using this correctly.
However, I have found this to be an excellent leave in treatment by not washing it out. I use any shampoo that takes my fancy then towel dry my hair before using the hair mask from mid length to ends. Thanks to its intensely nourishing formula, the product works by smoothing and softening each strand helping improve manageability and detangling. It also leaves a beautiful shine to my hair without any tackiness even though I don't wash it out.
The treatment smells incredibly luxurious which is some of the appeal of Kérastase products for me. The Nutritive Masque Magistral retails at £29.00 so it is pricey but Look Fantastic usually have offers on the range so you can sometimes pick this up for around £20. If you're really struggling with dried out hair then it's definitely worth giving a try. You don't have to use much to coat hair so the 150ml tub does work out quite cost effective in the long run.
