Facetox Clay Mask

I'm a huge fan of face masks and have a very healthy collection for every skin complaint you can think about. My love of a pamper has even rubbed off on Arran as more often than not he'll put one on with me too so when Facetox sent through the Extract, Pull & Detoxify Kit* pamper evenings became a twice weekly thing. Any excuse!

Facetox is an organic skin care company based in the UK and the main importance for them is to have affordable skincare, that works without the hefty price tag some cosmetic companies place on their products. You can purchase the masks in packs of seven, each coming in a box with both parts of the mask as well as a mixing bowl and spoon. They also sell Konjac sponges to help remove the mask but I just use a flannel.

The organic, cruelty free and vegan mask helps pull out toxins from the skin with its blend of clay and 100% pure rose water leaving you with a beautiful complexion. I've used various clay masks in the past without results so to be completely honest I wasn't expecting much from this but I was pleasantly surprised as the mask really did do what it says it does. Five of the benefits are as follows...

  • Draws out toxins beneath the skins surface
  • Draws out blackheads and reduces pores
  • Reduces the appearance of scars and redness
  • Evens skintone
  • Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth

I don't suffer too much with blackheads but Arran does so it was incredible to see the mask working so well on his skin. We've both been left feeling super soft and smooth! Facetox advises to use the mask twice a week but you could also use it once a week to see benefits. You can sometimes experience redness after using, as it is a strong mask but I personally had no problems.

It is suitable for all skin types and can be beneficial for acne sufferers too. Facetox have a legion of fans with boxes selling every minute all over the world as they ship internationally. You can purchase the box of seven masks for £24.99 and if you use them twice a week, they last around a month. You can also purchase larger boxes for true Facetox fans. I reckon they'd make a great Christmas present too!

I've already ordered a second box as the difference in my skin with the colder weather while using this has really surprised me and I don't want that soft, smooth skin to disappear anytime soon!

Have you ever tried Facetox before?

  1. I do love a good pamper session. Haven't tried Facetox before but have tried the Aztec clay before and it's really good. Nice review!
