Christmas Drinks for Tea Lovers

With the Christmas season fast approaching the words on everyone's lips has to be Christmas Drinks and if you're a tea lover then I've got you covered thanks to Bluebird Tea Co. These guys are the tea specialists behind my most asked about Instagram post this Autumn featuring their Spiced Pumpkin Pie tea. It's as delicious as it sounds so I knew the Christmas range would be a real treat for the taste buds.

At the beginning of November I had a Christmas tea pack arrive which included some of the fabulous flavours you see here and they're just as innovative as the rest of their selection. There are also stocking fillers such as tea-filled Christmas crackers and tea baubles available as well as their Luxury Advent Calendar of Tea and a Blend Your Own Tea kit. If you have a tea connoisseur in your life then Bluebird Tea Co. is the place to shop.

The home grown independent brand hail from Brighton where their tea mixologists create flavourful blends for tea lovers everywhere and the magic of Christmas is clear in the special collection that launched November 1st. You can purchase the tea loose in pouches, pots or in teabags and they also have vegan options available. Prices start from just £3 so pop your Tetley Tea back in the cupboard and take a step on the adventurous side...

Snowball Teabags £6.00* -
Snowball is a black tea and one of their most famous Christmas flavours and rightly so, it's heavenly. A blend of chocolate, marshmallow and coconut makes this the perfect warming drink for any sweet tooth. It's available in teabags this year and it won the Great Taste 2016 award... Need I say more?

Gingerbread Chai Teabags £5.70* -
Another award winning Rooibos tea, the Gingerbread Chai is a spiced treat. With ingredients such as cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and mallow flowers, it's exactly the blend you need after a frosty day.

Christmas Cake 20g Pouch £3.00* -
This is Christmas in a pouch! They've combined tea, cake and Christmas bringing you an incredibly festive blend which even includes Christmas tree spruce needles. This has a whole host of ingredients including Ceylon black tea, vanilla pieces, almond pieces, cinnamon, cloves, orange peel and the extra special addition of little candy snowflakes that glitter like icicles when brewed. Think Frozen and you've got it in one. (Contains peanut oil, so be careful!).

Mulled Cider 20g Pouch £3.00* -
You have mulled cider so why not blend it into a fruity tea? The Mulled Cider loose leaf pouch contains a tantalising blend of aromatic winter spices fit for even the worst Grinch. Containing apple pieces, ginger, rosehip, hibiscus, cinnamon, cloves and lemon peel, you can drink alone in your favourite Christmas mug or mix with a splash of dark rum for a grown up twist.

Hey, Sugar Plum 20g Pouch £3.00* -
Another fruity blend with cinnamon and juicy berries to really get you into the mood. The aroma from the tea while you leave it to infuse makes the room smell so Christmassy and is the perfect companion for a cosy night in watching Netflix. With elderberries, hibiscus, cinnamon, blackcurrant, mallow flowers and red cornflowers, if you like fruity teas you'd be hard pressed to find a fault with Hey, Sugar Plum.

I hope you're feeling festive! What tea has teased your taste buds?
