If a new season means anything, it's a wardrobe refresh and I've well and truly gone mad on clothes and boots this year. In the last ten months I feel like I've found my style and can spot what would suit me a mile off. I've also stepped out of my comfort zone with my usual go to shops taking a back seat and I've discovered clothing stores I wouldn't usually glance at such as David Nieper.
David Nieper is an online retailer specialising in luxury womenswear, made in England with years of experience behind them in finding the perfect fabrics, cuts and details. I'm all about warm jumpers, soft roll necks and beautiful coats this time of year so it wasn't difficult for me to find some pieces I loved.
I found six key pieces to mix and match for my Autumn wardrobe all of which will see me through the colder months. A good coat will always see you through the season but a good quality wool coat will see you through years and that's why I love the Iris Wool Rich Coat. This can be styled with jeans and boots or over a dress for cocktails and the silk lining and wool outer will keep you so warm. I also loved the Soft Knitted Jersey Jacket for evenings out paired with jeans and heels. It has an almost Chanel-esque look to it for a lot less money.
The Black Jersey Turtle neck is one of my key pieces to wear during the winter. This particular one is more elegant thanks to the detailed neck, deep cuffs and button detailing on the back. I thought this would look gorgeous mixed with the two jackets I mentioned above and the Pure Silk Liberty Overshirt in a Filigree which can be worn buttoned or opened. I'm obsessed with the silk pattern so it was only natural that the Pure Silk Liberty Shirt also in Filigree made its way into my wishlist. You could never say I wasn't consistent.
Lastly is the Fine Jersey Pleated Skirt in black. I love pairing skirts with tights in Autumn, even more so when they're midi length as they look so cute with boots and a light jacket. I reckon this would make the perfect boho autumn look with the right floppy hat too.
