October Birchbox // BACK TO BASICS

Yesterday I shared what was in the Stylist Birchbox so today I give you Back to Basics*, my favourite out the two boxes available this month. On first look I thought the Stylist Birchbox had it in the bag but the more I looked into this box, the more I prefered it. It should really of been called the Essentials box because it has everything you need in it from a chunky black liner to shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste.

First up is the Beaver Professional Hydro shampoo and conditioner; it aims to give maximum nutrients to leave hair soft and smooth. It contains avocado oil and aloe vera extracts which also makes it smell really good. I spent a good few minutes just smelling the shampoo it's that nice. The Beaver duo left my locks super soft, free from any frizz and smelling awesome. There was a different sample of Bioderma in the Back to Basics box; Hydrobio is dry skin friendly with the added ingredient of Aquagenium to lock in moisture. As soon as I finish up the Sensibio, I'll be giving this one a try.

Regenerate Enamel Science advanced toothpaste has been doing the rounds on Twitter for some time. It works to reverse the invisible signs of enamel erosion while leaving your breath minty fresh. It also helps boost whiteness and it tastes pretty good as far as a toothpaste goes. Another product from this month's box that I've been recommended countless times is the Seche Vita dry fast top coat. I never use a top coat because it's just another job to do but from reading different reviews and seeing the love for this I'm definitely going to be giving it a go on my nails when I next paint them.

Lastly is my favourite product from the whole box, the Eyeko Fat liquid liner; If like me you are crap at eye liner then this is one product you need to buy immediately. I'm a pencil liner girl through and through but this is so easy to use. It leaves a jet black line of colour for a big, dramatic eye look. It's that easy to use I could probably do it with my eyes shut and that is seriously saying something. It doesn't move or smudge and it's really easy to remove too. LOVE.

What is your favourite box this month? Stylist or Back to Basics?
