Lush Winter Haul

Lush launched this year's Winter range at the beginning of the month and I made sure I was in there on launch day to pick up some sparkly treats. I'd seen some photos from the Lush Oxford Street launch so I already knew I had to pick up Yog Nog and Lord of Misrule so you can imagine my disappointment when my local store didn't have either. Thankfully my sister managed to get me both in Lush Brighton and my friend, Mandy from Onesliceoflemon also picked up Yog Nog for me in London the same weekend.

I did buy some of the new releases from Lush Southampton including some favourites from last years range. I don't know if I'm the only one but I was expecting more from the range, a lot of it seems quite samey and as much as I like the smell of Peeping Santa, I find the name a little sinister. It is a Christmas bath bomb after all and the idea of Santa 'peeping' creeps me out a little. Saying that I'm likened to a bloodhound when it comes to sniffing out Bergamot and that's why I bought it. Star Dust was the second bomb I bought from this year's range containing vanilla, rosewood and of course Bergamot. Be warned though, the little stars inside stain the bath!

The other four bath bombs I picked up were all ones I bought last year, Sparkly Pumpkin, Cinders, Butterbear and Shoot for the Stars (which also has Bergamot in) and I also bought some extras for a Twitter giveaway which the lovely Emmie won. I will no doubt be buying plenty more in the lead up to Christmas so keep an eye out on some more Lush posts as soon as my local store gets some stock in.

Have you picked anything up from the Winter range yet? What's your favourite?

  11. Yay! Love a good Lush haul! I am definitely still writing mine, I got SO much stuff and also went down on release day haha! ;)

I pretty much got all of these, but it's annoying about Star Dust :( Does it smell better in the bath? I feel like I just picked it up because it was in the Christmas range and it looked really cute when they were trying it out in the sink!
