The Body Shop Spa of the World Event

The Body Shop recently released their Spa of the World collection and the Southampton store invited a few of us down to take a peek and be talked through the new range. We were also treated to complimentary drinks, hand massages with the new products and had our nails painted with their Colour Crush nail colours.

The Spa of the World collection is pretty incredible. Inspired by traditional beauty treatments from around the world, the spa body rituals allow you to bring the world into your bathroom. There are three ranges to choose from, Relaxing, Revitalising and Blissful, each as amazing as the next. There are so many products to suit, from scrubs, massage oils, milk baths, charcoal body clay, body creams and two items to help apply the products, a body brush and a wooden massager.

After being shown the full range, my firm favourites are definitely the Tahitian Orchid Massage Oil and the Himalayan Charcoal Body Clay. The oil smells beautiful, very much like the Elemis Frangipani but much nicer on my purse. After sniffing and using everything I could, I had my nails painted in the shade Crimson Kiss ready for a weekend away in Bournemouth. The shade was beautiful and the perfect Autumn shade but it chipped within twenty four hours even with a top coat. For £5 each, I'll be sticking to my trusty Barry M.

The evening with The Body Shop and the rest of the blogging girls was really enjoyable and we were given bags of samples and discounts to use too which was a nice touch. I may be treating myself to the two items I mentioned above very soon!
