Sleek Garden of Eden Palette

I've read so much on Sleek in the last year or so of blogging yet I've only tried one of their blushes so when the Garden of Eden* palette came in my festival survival kit from Boots I was intrigued to see if these bargain palettes really lived up to the hype. Each palette comes in a slim, black design which is a real bitch to open. Clearly when making cheaper palettes, opening them easily wasn't on Sleek's agenda. Inside you get a mirror the same size of the palette and twelve shadows each weighing 1.1g.

The Garden of Eden palette is really beautiful, full of natural, earth based shades for a subtle day or super smoky night look. It makes a nice change opening a palette to find a mix of greens and purple shades that are easily wearable for all skin tones. The shadows are very soft and buttery which makes them easy to blend, the only downside is that they pick up dents and break really easily but for around 67p per shadow you can't really complain.

I've been leaning more towards the purple shades as they really bring out my blue eyes. Paradise On Earth, Python, Forbidden and Entwined have been my favourites and my go to shades to create a smoky eye for the evening. I've also been braving Fig and Fauna from the green shades during the day. For an inexpensive eye shadow palette, Sleek are definitely ones to look out for. Found in Boots and Superdrug, their entire make up range looks pretty promising, especially the contour kit.

Have you tried Sleek before? What would you recommend I try next?

  1. I have tried a few sleek palettes, but never really reach for them. I'd like to try some of their lip products next!

  3. Yes! I have two products from Sleek, their I-Divine palette and their rose gold blush (which I both adore btw), and I can never open them without sacrificing at least three nails in the process! Plus everything seems to stick and smudge over the matte black packaging making it look messy and cheap.
