Let Go with Sanctuary Spa

The new campaign, Let Go* by Sanctuary Spa really hit home with me and it's one I honestly think many more women, from all ages and walks of life can also sympathise with. You will rarely see someone without a smartphone in their hand or someone not rushing from A to B. Our lives are now so consumed with working hard, being the best we can and more often than not working ourselves into the ground. There is absolutely nothing wrong with striving to be the best you can be but how many of us just sit back of an evening and relax? Whether it be in a bath, reading a book or just simply turning our phones off for an hour and taking in the world around us.

I am so guilty of not giving myself enough me time or even family time. I work full time, I run my blog part time, I have a busy social life and somewhere in between my hectic life I forget to put myself at the center. 2000 women were polled recently and of that number, 25% of British women between the ages of 25 to 34 don't feel good enough. I'd put myself in that 25% and I shouldn't. We are our own worst enemy and WE put an enormous amount of pressure on ourselves daily just through comparing ourselves to others. We need to take a step back and appreciate ourselves, our lives and what we have. I'm going to start by taking an hour out to have a long soak without my phone, I'm going to be turning it off each evening and I'm also going to start reminding myself of what I should be proud of. Instead of knocking myself down, I need to be build myself up.

Sanctuary Spa's Let Go campaign is about doing just that, appreciating yourself and your achievements, remembering what you have in life and taking care of number one. Thanks to women who have been there and done that, they were able to create a powerful video, one that really struck a chord with me. The message is so simple, but one we all forget.

Help share Sanctuary Spa's message with me using the hashtag #LetGo by sharing your own experiences, dreams and achievements or even let someone else know what you admire about them. Something they may think they're useless at may be just the thing you wish you could get the grasp of. Support, love and advice is more valuable than you may think. 1. Wonderful post, and an amazing reminder. I honestly watch months go by because I'm that busy ALL THE TIME. I never make an evening for myself, and I really should. Im going to make sure to put myself first and enjoy some 'me time'. Fab post lovely <3 xx
