La Roche Posay Skincare

Skincare seems to be my main focus recently. My skin type has completely changed this year, going from oily to combination and quite dry. I've also been getting the odd blemish which I've never had before which means I've had to switch up my skincare to help combat this. In Monday's post I wrote about the Aqualia Thermal Serum from Vichy which has helped my dry skin so much. I've also been using two products from La Roche Posay, a toner and moisturiser.

The La Roche Posay Serozinc* has had so much buzz around it since it was released and for good reason. The Zinc Sulphate facial mist toner is specifically designed to help oily, blemish prone skin. As I said I'm not finding oil to be my main problem but a product that works to stop oil helps none the less. After cleansing my face with the Bee Good Cream Cleanser and Garnier Micellar water I spray the Serozinc on, wait for it to settle then dab it slightly with a cotton pad. Serozinc contains ingredients to sooth and purify the skin and helps reduce blemishes and redness by quite a significant amount. I've never jumped on the toner hype before but the results are so noticeable that it's never leaving my dresser. I'm completely sold.

After using Serozinc and Aqualia Thermal I've been following them up with the La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluide* which is an intense soothing fluid for face and eyes. Aimed for people with super sensitive or allergic skin, it relieves discomfort and keeps skin moisturised throughout the day. Two pumps of this leaves my face feeling soft and nourished and it soaks in without leaving any stickiness. Toleriane Ultra also comes in a pump bottle and has a bag inside containing the product so you get to use every last drop. I've been so impressed with both products that I've already scouted out where to buy back ups before I run out and I'm definitely going to be checking out what else La Roche Posay do... Boots better have a 3 for 2 offer coming up soon! What are your favourite La Roche Posay products?

  2. ZINC is awesome for oily skin, it actually reduces the amount of oil your skin make's - magic! I started off with bargain basement Sudocreme, taking zinc supplements can also have the same effect!
