Clinique Face Forward Event

I was recently invited to a Clinique Boots Southampton event to showcase their Face Forward campaign which features bloggers and is encouraging people to start a skin care routine from an early age. I am 100% guilty of not doing this and even though I've upped what I use, I'm still pretty lax with what I do use so I needed this event more than anything.

I took my mum along to the Clinique event as she's been a life long Clinique wearer. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and learnt some new skin facts for herself too. Just goes to show you can help your skin that little bit more at any age!

Hannah who presented the evening seriously knew her stuff. There wasn't a product she didn't know nor a question she couldn't answer. If every Clinique counter was like this I'd be a very happy shopper. Our event was held off the shop floor in one of Boot's meeting rooms with a spread of cupcakes, prosecco and a mountain of Clinique products for us to try and be talked through.

Starting with their legendary three step routine, we were also talked through the Anti Blemish range, Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion and Gel (I didn't know they did both?!) and the Turnaround range. The one product that really impressed us all was the Take The Day Off balm, it was velvety soft, like nothing I've ever tried before and I've loved using my sample I was given. Soft, plump cheeks here I come.

If you're yet to have a decent skincare routine then I urge you to head to your local Clinique counter, book in for a consultation, talk through your concerns and treat yourself! And if you're lucky enough to live in Southampton then pop into Clinique at Boots and book in with Hannah and the team, you will not regret it!

  1. Sounds like a fantastic event! I need to improve my skincare regime so maybe I should pay a visit to a Clinique counter soon :)

  2. I've been using the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion for the longest time but would love to try out the Take the day off Balm! :) Also, I tend to get really lazy about my skincare routine when I am tired so this post just reminded me to always put on moisturiser at night <3
