Yves Rocher Summer Essentials

Yves Rocher has featured on Annie Writes Beauty few times now and with the sun finally making an appearance I thought it was time to show you what you need to pick up to get Summer ready. I had a small collection of products sent through from Yves Rocher, two hair products and two items from the Monoi de Tahiti range. We all know how damaging the sun can be for our skin but I think we forget about our hair sometimes, so the Raspberry Rinsing Vinegar* has come in very handy the last week to inject some added shine into my mane. I have spent the last week sat in the sun so I didn't have happy hair but this has really helped. It smells good enough to eat, it's silicone and paraben free and a little goes a long way to give you super shiny locks.

The second hair item is Low Shampoo Delicate Cleansing Cream* which I'm really not a fan of. It's designed to leave your hair feeling light and silky but mine just felt quite weighed down. I have long, thick hair so I'm not sure if this is why I didn't get on with it even though it's meant to be for all hair types. I wasn't overly too keen on the smell either, I just found the floral smell too potent.

The last two items are from the Monoi de Tahiti range and are definitely my favourite. The exotic fragrance is so similar to the award winning body oil from Elemis, Frangipani Monoi Body Oil. I haven't used the Lagoon Hair & Body Wash* in my hair as I didn't want to throw too many different products in at once but as a body wash, it's pretty perfect and the scent stays on the skin for such a long amount of time. Partnered with the Precious Body Oil*, it's an exotic match made in Polynesian heaven. I've been mixing the body oil with self tanner to give myself a really nice glow and I haven't stopped using it! Plus it smells incredible. So if you're looking for some new summer body products, get yourself on the Yves Rocher website and treat yourself!

  1. May have to try these myself, specially if the sun will be staying out a bit longer.
