The Body Shop Calming Aloe

When I think of skin care The Body Shop is way up there in my first thoughts. It is such a well loved brand and one we can probably all say we have on our dressers and in our bathrooms. I have stacks of the body butters in my room and the Aloe Calming collection is fast becoming a new favourite.

I've been doing a three step routine with the cleanser, toner and moisturiser the last few weeks. Starting with the Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser* I squeeze this onto my Magitone Lucid for a really deep clean. It's a light, cream texture with no scent to it. It really cleans the skin and there's no irritation, leaving my skin super clean and soft. I follow this up with the Aloe Calming Toner*, I've never really bothered with a toner before, it was always the step you could miss out but I couldn't believe how much dirt and grime still came away with a toner. Yuck. All the Aloe Calming range is fragrance free, colour free and alcohol free so perfect for those sensitive skinned lovelies.

Lastly I apply the Aloe Soothing Day Cream*. This is a really light texture and soaks into the skin leaving it hydrated and smooth. I find the moisturiser a little gel like which makes for a quicker application and a silky base to apply your make up on. The Body Shop really are one of the best for skincare and if you've been suffering lately with breakouts and sensitive dry patches you should definitely check out the Aloe range.

  4. I love using toners, I find they remove extra gunk which the cleanser didn't get rid of. At the moment I have been using the Satsuma body sorbet from the Body Shop. x

  5. I've not tried this range, but sounds lovely. I love the Vit E skincare collection and pretty much anything and everything I've tried from the body shop. Haha I know what you mean about the toner, sometimes I have to tone twice. I don't even think I wear that much make up.KBxx
